WYFI Query and Retrieve Outreach

The Wyoming Frontier Information (WYFI) team is reaching out to the hospital facilities that we are connected with to offer the query and retrieve (QnR) process that is available. This process allows WYFI participants to query our system for patient records from their Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The benefit for the hospital is that the clinician would not have to log out of your system to retrieve documents from the WYFI.
The query and retrieve process, also known as Community Interchange, takes all of the complexity of continuity of care document (CCD) exchange and turns it into a single one-click, on-demand transaction to make the process of getting clinical data into your environment seamless. Community Interchange bridges the gaps between differing data protocols and EHR variations between networks through a proprietary set of interrelated technologies.
