WYFI Participation Fees Waived

The WYFI team is excited to announce that participant fees have been waived through June 30, 2026. We would like to express our appreciation to the Wyoming Department of Health Director, Stefan Johansson, for approving the waiving of WYFI participant fees.
The WYFI Chapter 1, Section 10(i) Rule authorizes the Department to waive participation fees as alternate funding sources become available to cover the costs of administering and maintaining the Health Information Exchange. WYFI has been approved for funding through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The CMS funding will cover 90% of the system design and development and 75% of the operations and maintenance costs. This is why we are able to waive the participation fees.
WYFI Policy and Procedure Manual Update – 3.14.2024, Version 8.0
The WYFI policy and procedure manual has been updated with the following two
main updates:
- Changing the password timeframe from 90 to 60 days in section 1001
- Adding the 42 CFR Part 2 reference in section 401
